I lowered a measurement of success for my business (gross income) and now I'm killing it! :)

I LOVE EDITING!

I just took a client's separate recording from a different source, spliced in some of the banter from another recording he did with a co-host, and turned it into a piece that works.

Of course, it helps that the client gave me the canvas on which to work from :)

Time to relax (and maybe do a touch of work).

Not only did I volunteer for 2 different things for my church from 6:30-11:15am, but I mowed the lawn this afternoon.

I'm relaxing in my home office and listening to the NASCAR race, but have the capacity to finish some paperwork.

Unsolicited donation requests by mail or email are almost instantly thrown in my trash.

I give when I want to, which is often - but on MY schedule.

However, Wikipedia is one of those services I often take advantage of, so I donate a little every year.

Podcast ads done wrong make me feel disrespected.

A very well-produced podcast (about editing, no less) keeps inserting ads right in the middle of content.

The most recent one put it in the middle of a bit. I mean, music playing and BAM! Mac & Cheese Cheetos ad.
