Our paper about chronic pain led by @TanguaySabourinis out in Nature Medicine | nature.com/articles/s4159…. This article introduces the concept of pain spread in chronic overlapping pain conditions and shows that it can be predicted. (1/4)

Not at all surprised.
When it comes to coverage for #ChronicPain treatments the denials are endless bc everything except tylenol is listed as “investigational”
And of course appeals take hours/days/weeks, all while our patients are waiting for care we deemed necessary
