Reading applications for a faculty award and one letter noted that the applicant was the best “new faulty recruit” in years 😂

Anyone have other great academic typos?

Very happy to be with the students UC Irvine as their student-invited speaker!

is a long road but so rewarding & important for academic medicine to keep the physician-scientist pipeline strong 🤓

Truly incredible amount of work on neuroimaging pain presented at by Dr. Irene Tracey at the TH Sheldon lecture.

Brain imaging predicts action & efficacy of CNS drugs, can be used to understand & better titrate anesthetic action and so much more!

Inspiring session 🤩

Not at all surprised.

When it comes to coverage for treatments the denials are endless bc everything except tylenol is listed as “investigational”

And of course appeals take hours/days/weeks, all while our patients are waiting for care we deemed necessary
