Truly incredible amount of work on neuroimaging pain presented at #IARS23 by Dr. Irene Tracey at the TH Sheldon lecture.

Brain imaging predicts action & efficacy of CNS drugs, can be used to understand & better titrate anesthetic action and so much more!

When it comes to coverage for #ChronicPain treatments the denials are endless bc everything except tylenol is listed as “investigational”

And of course appeals take hours/days/weeks, all while our patients are waiting for care we deemed necessary
