Yes, INFLUENCER is eligible for the B&N preorder sale, so by all means grab it there and save a few bucks. *But* for a few dollars more you can order it direct from my local indie and have it arrive signed and personalized. Here: bit.ly/Frendolovesyou

For readers who appreciate flawed and idiosyncratic characters, dysfunctional found family tropes, unconventional heroes, and the writing style of Stephen Graham Jones I highly recommend Brian Asman (Werewolf Era) debut novel GOOD DOGS, a refreshing take on the werewolf narrative 🐺

The short film I co-wrote about a female photographer in Victorian times and her unusual job capturing Hidden Mothers is racking up some views! Which is lovely. Watch here (trigger warnings for infant mortality): youtu.be/xIiiS2XUuoo?fe…

Not only is HUNCHBACK OF THE MORGUE (1973) one of Paul Naschy's best performances, but a fine example of why a monster kid making monster movies rules with nary a gothic trope neglected from dungeons & doomed love to reform school hijinks & an outlandish primordial blob humanoid.

Holy cow, the UK edition of INFLUENCER is really gorgeous? Hard to tell from pics, but the whole face of the phone is glossy. It’s smaller too, a little closer to a mass market paperback than the domestic edition. UK on the left, US right
