One of Albania's greatest writers, Ismail Kadare (1936), has passed away. One day, in Paris he sat down next to me on the metro. I told him that I had read all of his books, including "General of the Dead Army." He was surprised. We had coffee in a bistro and take this picture.

Gulam Saki Genci is a secondary school student. He has three brothers and two sisters. One night, he dreamed that he was walking on the moon. Since then, he decided to become an astronaut. For now, Gulam does his training, with his kite, among the ruins of his neighborhood.
