Determined to find our own birds today resisted the urge to chase others finds. Eventually found a Yellow-browed Warbler on the cliffs near South Landing, Flamborough Head. Also Arctic Skuas, Red-throated Divers, Brent Geese, but generally few grounded migrants. Another day….

Today's sun became fog, but we still saw a few arrivals on top of our lingering highlights. A Red-breasted Flycatcher, Wryneck, Little Bunting & Bluethroat were among the new birds, as well as double figures of Yellow-browed Warblers. More here: fairislebirdobs.co.uk/latest_sightin… 📸J Fisk

Had worse days at Buckton. Yellow-browed Warbler colour ringed as part of Daniel Gornall national project (2 more present) and male Red-breasted Flycatcher on cliff top in the fog. Set for more action tomorrow.
