Meet Dr. Majors, ChBE's new Assistant Prof! 👋🏼 Dr. Cat Majors earned her B.Eng. in Biomedical Engineering at Vanderbilt University and her PhD in Bioengineering from Rice University where her research focused on the development of new methods to detect bacterial infections. (1/2)

5/2024: Congrats to Justin Roen and Joe Bailey on their graduation!!! 🎓 Both were UG researchers in our lab and now they are chemical engineers 👏 We couldn't be prouder of them! Picture of the farewell party we organized to celebrate their accomplishments and future careers.

This summer, we welcomed 3 awesome undergraduate researchers: Laura Donahue, Evan Jordan, and Ashton Poole. They started a new project and obtained exciting results! They also presented posters at the 8th Annual Summer CI + UR Showcase. Thankful to Creative Inquiry for the support! 🤗

Dr. Ana C. Alba-Rubio (she/her) created a coloring book as part of her U.S. National Science Foundation CAREER Award. The coloring book supports women in STEM and will be distributed to schools in the area! A digital copy of the book can be found in the article.
