This is the regularity of Shinkansen trains to Tokyo from Kyoto (280 miles apart) at the moment… every 3 mins! It does widen up to a shocking every 9 mins in a bit though.

Two Japanese obsessions - Pokemon and Trains… and they combine here at the new railway themed Pokemon Store at Tokyo Station. Imagine the value for transport getting such collaboration - especially for youngsters - in the UK.

Managed to stumble across a Schwebebahn in Tokyo (as you do) during our day trip to Enoshima. Branded as the Shonan Monorail, it was originally owned by Mitsubishi and is officially twinned with its famous counterpart in Wuppertal.

The ingenious Curry Station Niagara in Tokyo. Railway artefacts everywhere and meals & drinks get delivered by train to your table. Another amazing and unique experience here in Japan. 👌🇯🇵

Incredible time in Japan, across Kyoto, Osaka and Tokyo - shattering our expectations. Our first time but won’t be the last. So many great experiences and memories. 🇯🇵
