From today until 13 June, Jon Archdeacon has an exhibition of photos, including many taken at Bede. See 'Pageant', A spectacle of Photographs, by John at the Blyth Gallery, Imperial College.

Bede was thrilled to visit Jon Archdeacon's 'Pageant' exhibition last night at Imperial College. Among the displays were striking and highly evocative black and white images of some of our clients. This free exhibition is very well worth a visit and is on until 13th June.

The Bede Summer Fair is next Wednesday. Come and see us for fun, food and drink and some great raffle prizes.

GOODBYE TO ONE OF BERMONDSEY’S FINEST We are sorry to learn about the recent passing of Friend & supporter Russell Dryden. A ‘real character’, he lived in & worked for his community. Positive, friendly, ready with a quip or some philosophical insight, Russell will be missed.

It's August & we're gearing up for our UNDER THE SEA afternoon, Bede Centre, 12-3pm, Wed 14 June. Let’s go subaquatic & submerge ourselves in a submarine or submersible for a subaqueous seafloor exploration. Landlubbers, bring your sea legs & prepare to be soaked! Sea u there!
