I found another AI-generated garbage diagram in a scientific journal. It’s entirely gibberish and features anatomically incorrect limbs with too many bones. ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/P…

Here you go. Facts v hostile self-interested propaganda. International students benefit the UK by £41.9 billion. The total net benefits after taking account of the impact on public services are £37.4 billion. hepi.ac.uk/2024/06/20/new…

“Peer reviewed” journal, in PubMed Central, in Medline, has an Impact Factor, respectable publisher. Our trust signals are not good enough…

We were pleased to speak to new health secretary Wes Streeting MP today to get the ball rolling on negotiating a solution to our dispute - and we have agreed meeting next week. As we have always been clear, only a credible offer, acceptable to our members, will do.

BREAKING: The Lancet has just published this article "conservatively" estimating that the death toll in the Gaza genocide could be 186,000 people or more. That's 8% of the population, obliterated. These are apocalyptic figures. thelancet.com/journals/lance… thelancet.com/journals/lance…

I understand why word count limits exist - I really do. But still, I really, really hate them 🤯 #PhDlife Anyway, here's a picture of a monkey eyeing up my lunch instead.

plymouth.ac.uk/courses/postgr… Patients deserve better. Patients deserve to see their General Practitioner. Your taxes are being wasted on trialling non-doctors to work in General Practice when thousands of GPs are under-employed. Is this what you want for your NHS?! 🐼Parody RCGP (not a Doctor/"Physician" Assistant) RCGP

I do have to wonder, has there actually been a public consultation about this? Are the public genuinely happy to be seen by a non-doctor, when would previously have gone to see their GP? Note that this has to be the choice being asked, not the false choice between AHP or nothing

I’ve got several friends who are GI regs. It’s a long hard slog - 2 years Foundation, 2 (now 3) years internal medicine, then 4-5 years specialty training. I am not convinced this is what is meant by ‘specialist in gastroenterology’ in this video

Dr Sandeep Bansal Do they realise that their job has nothing to do with driving strategic programme change? They exist to protect the public from people masquerading as doctors and to ensure doctors meet the appropriate professional standards. That’s it.
