I wrote about my love for the ‘ordinary’ creatures of our wild cities and what makes them extraordinary for London Wildlife Trust - read here ➡️ ow.ly/aXmK50KY9Bo 🐦🐿🐀
This is a really important piece from Florence Wilkinson. Less than twelve hours after my son was born I was told to leave the hospital because COVID restrictions were still in place. We do not talk enough about the impact that has is still having on women and their partners.
The test for Keir Starmer's missions will not come today or in 18 months' time. It’s in 2029 and whether he can stand on the steps of Downing Street and convince people they are better off under Labour. My piece for The i paper: inews.co.uk/opinion/worked…
This is very good from Patrick Maguire. thetimes.co.uk/article/f8b2be…
Next year, I’m running… … the London Marathon for Barnardo’s. If you can please donate here 👇🏻 justgiving.com/page/ben-nunn-…
✨New year new look!✨Excited to share that the paperback of Wild City will be published on 25 April by Orion Spring Orion Publishing. Thanks so much to Stephen Moss & John Lewis-Stempel for the cover quotes.
With Rachel Reeves as Chancellor, Labour will get Britain’s future back and make working people better off.
Sadly the marathon didn’t finish how I would have hoped after - of all things - getting knocked and breaking my hip. Really disappointed not to have finished. But so proud of the money I raised for Barnardo’s and *huge* thanks to St John Ambulance England who were absolutely incredible.
To celebrate the launch of my paperback, I wrote for The Wildlife Trusts about experiencing our wild city through my toddler’s eyes, and the joys of introducing him to urban nature. wildlifetrusts.org/blog/guest/wil…
In January 2020, Tobias James and I set up a single camera and started rolling. Four and a half years later, the country elected Keir as PM, and Rachel as the first ever female Chancellor. We’re beyond proud to have been part of the amazing team that helped make it happen.
