One of the most important things I learnt from ⁦⁦Chris Boardman CBE⁩ last night was that infrastructure built to national standards increases active travel by 20-60% and halves deaths; 'painted lines' increase deaths by 10% and don't increase active travel at all.

Incidents like this tragedy are why I report every single driver who close passes me or those I ride with.
