DC’s Bravest pay honor to fallen DC Police Department Officer Wayne David as his dignified transfer procession passes. He died in the line of duty on August 28th. May he rest in peace. #DCsBravest
Another police officer lost. This time in our Nation’s Capital. Detective Wayne David of the DC Police Department was shot and killed accidentally retrieving a loaded firearm from a storm drain during an investigation on August 28, 2024. Our thoughts and prayers remain with his family.
Another cop murdered. This time in Texas. Dallas Police Dept Officer Darron Burks wasn’t just killed in the line of duty, he was executed as he sat in his cruiser. His murder is an affront to the rule of law and common decency everywhere. We condemn this repulsive act of violence.

The son of a retired Boston Police Dept. officer, Mark Bavis died on 9/11. An easy kid to like, Mark made a ton of friends playing Hyde Park Youth Hockey, Catholic Memorial and BU Men's Hockey. 23-years after his passing, those who knew and loved him say they will never forget him.
