It’s really important to differentiate between scholars & students of knowledge vs. actors and talk show hosts. The former are inheritors of the Prophets & representatives of Islam, while the latter are sometimes the opposite of that & simply entertainers putting on a show.

There’s a huge difference between sinning & acknowledging it as a sin, thus knowing repentance is needed vs. sinning & trying to make it halal by twisting proofs and fatwa shopping to pretend you didn’t do anything wrong in the first place, or even worse, that you’re doing good.

This shows how misguided some people have become. Sure, pulling his son’s arm is the problem, not the fact that the US is supplying weapons to Israel to blow off the arms (& heads) of thousands of children (& counting).. But hey! As long as they don’t pull on anyone’s arms!!

Happens every time. Yet they never learn, and apparently neither does he.

This is a very important point. If you mean something specific and “not all Indians”, then be specific about who or what is intended and don’t generalize.
