Over April and May CCS promoted an awareness of Autism culminating in a presentation given by local writer and past pupil Darragh D. Doherty to class 3E. Staff also wore either blue or yellow on Friday 28th of April as part of Autism Awareness and Acceptance month.

Congratulations to our 6th yr students who took part in this year’s successful Peer Tutoring Programme.The tutors were Eimear O'Doherty, Alisha O'Connor, Hannah Lynch, Antony Shaji, Jamie Stewart, Aoibheann Toland, Aishling Doherty & Eva Livadaris.

School can be hard work sometimes...but not for our 1st Yrs on Wed 31st May. A big number descended on Brunswick Moviebowl for Fast X treats, bowling & dinner. A great day out was had by all. Thanks to Ms McCole for organising the trip, and to all the staff who chaperoned.

Following our final Branch meeting, members gathered together to mark the retirement of Liam Harkin. Ann McElhinney wonderfully regaled the group with an epic poem of Liam’s impressive and varied career while Liam told us of his exciting plans for the summer and beyond!

Well done to TY Student Jack Lafferty who has won the Special Recognition Award at the NFTE Finals. He will now go to Vienna, Austria in Sep to take part in the European Awards. 🤗

The Danske Bank U19 Casement Shield Final takes place tomorrow in Owenbeg where Gaelcholáiste Dhoire meets Carndonagh Donegal for a chance to win the shield.

Keelan and Dylan TYB presenting a cheque of €200 on behalf of Jack Lafferty to Gearoid from the Donegal Down Syndrome Association. Jack raised the money through his enterprise project Jolly Jo's Socks. He also donated 30 pairs of socks to newborn babies.
