Yesterday the children looked through a bag of potatoes that we grew in our nursery garden before the summer. They were keen to see what was inside. We found lots of diffrent sizes some small, giant, massive and big potatoes.🥔

What a busy week it's been in the garden! The children harvested potatoes, tomatoes, beans, and beetroot. After washing off the soil, they chopped and enjoyed the fresh veggies with lunch. 🥔🍅🫛

Today we mixed milky water with flower petals in the water tray, then added beetroot and watched as the color changed to a lovely pink! 🌸🥛

Yesterday, the children made Yorkshire puddings! 🧑‍🍳 They mixed milk, flour, and eggs together to create the perfect batter. #Article24

Last week outside, the children were mixing coloured water and flower petals to make perfume, they were using scoops and pipettes to fill water containers, and splashing in puddles. We used the pestle and mortar to grind chalk and mixed this with water to make paint #article15

Our children have been learning to follow our routine in our studio, mixing the paints, using the pipettes to add water and being supported to find their name to label their pictures. They have had lots of fun making and playing with the playdough. #article6
