Our kids can’t wait. Out of home care rates are skyrocketing. A national shame. The CTG agreement is clear, Government’s need to invest in the Indigenous led sector, the people and the organisations that have the expertise to stop this tide and break the pipeline. #snaicc

Before I sleep, I pay homage to my Grandfather. Never was a bigger man they say, but as a child he cried himself to sleep every night weeping for his mother. Never forgetting of the man who stole him... “the bastard had blue eyes”. ❤️ to all the mob separated from family.

This is a strong investment and that is a good thing. For it to land it must prioritise programming and service delivery that is Indigenous led in line with the priority reforms in the Closing the Gap Agreement.

Chessie Boy, owning his 15 minutes of fame. Well deserved after 24 years of ensuring the safety of all homes on the old Eastside ❤️

We stand on the shoulders! This is the first black unit at SBS who delivered the first Indigenous current affairs show in Prime Time back in 89’ Rhoda Roberts was host of ‘First In Line’ & now she is back ‘home’ as our Elder in Residence. Thanks for picture Lola Forrester NITV

It’s time to change the story. Today we release our #FamilyMattersReport if you have half a conscious it’s an uncomfortable read.

So this happened, delighted to be part of a board that values the leadership of the community controlled sector and invests in the leadership of Aboriginal people. #closingthegap SNAICC

Looking forward to unpacking the question “What is Reconciliation?” at the ECA symposium on beautiful Latakia country today. Happy Friday!

Let’s set out the facts. A flying visit to Alice Springs does not give the Leader of the Opposition an informed perspective about the issue of abuse or indeed the complexity of issues the community faces.

Loving the chance to cuddle my own grannies as part of National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Children’s Day. Clearly I am more excited about it than they are! #littlevoices #loudfutures #NATSICD
