Donโ€™t let your favourite spot, become your final one. Did you know this week is Drowning Prevention Week? It may be tempting in the summer months to enter open water, especially when it is warm and sunny, but remember the water is extremely coldโžก๏ธ bit.ly/3RvJHLM

Roscoe was a brave boy for our Firefighters this week after he managed to get his head stuck in a baby gate. Our crew from Crook rescued the 10-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier just before 5am on Monday. Weโ€™re #NotJustFires and Firefighters are trained for a range of rescues.

โ€˜Careless actions can have serious consequences.โ€™ ๐Ÿšจ Thatโ€™s the reminder as we urge people to be fire aware when out and about enjoying the better weather. Hot and dry weather conditions can lead to an increased risk of wildfires. ๐Ÿ”ฅ Pack a picnic, not a BBQ.
