One thing the country will never understand about NYC sports fans is our complete college football ambivalence. Saw this first hand when folks were talking about Big Ten wanting Rutgers for the “NYC market.” No one, literally no one, cares about RU football outside of Piscataway.

But if you walked around Manhattan on a Saturday afternoon, you’d see bars JAMMED with every alumni base in the country.

I’m referring to having twitter arguments about Caleb’s college team and captaincies. Who cares? They play Sunday. That’s what’s worth discussing.
