I’ve been made aware that multiple synagogues in BC were targeted by a bomb threat. BC unequivocally stands against antisemitism. Our Public Safety Minister Mike Farnworth is working with police agencies to address threats and keep people safe. cbc.ca/news/canada/mo…

We’ve protected nearly 1,500 affordable rentals, with more on the way. But Rustad and Falcon’s cuts would put thousands of renters at risk of renovictions and rent hikes. That’s a risk we can't afford. #bcpoli news.gov.bc.ca/31535

The choice is stark. Our housing plan is using every possible tool to create homes people can afford. Rustad and Falcon? They’re siding with speculators, vowing to ‘repeal’ our progress — making housing even more expensive. That’s a risk we can’t afford.

My team and I are focused on making sure that all students are set up for success in a safe environment where they are supported. By restricting cell phone use in the classroom, we are one step closer.

No matter what our opponents do, I'm focused on what matters to you—building more homes you can afford, lowering your costs, and strengthening your health care. John Rustad is planning deep cuts that will cost you, just like he did before. That’s a risk we can’t afford.

I'm hearing from lifelong BC Liberals who just can't vote for John Rustad's risky plan. If you care about climate change. If you want to protect your reproductive freedom. If you want to build hospitals, not cancel them. I have a message: You have a home with us in the BC NDP

It’s been 7 years since tolls were removed from the Port Mann and Golden Ears bridges - that’s over $10,000 saved per driver. We will keep tolls off our bridges. John Rustad's party wants to bring bridge tolls back, costing you almost $1,500 a year!

Working people are the backbone of our economy and the essential services our communities depend on. That’s why we’re improving training programs for: ➡️ First responders ➡️ Firefighters ➡️ Teachers ➡️ Skilled workers

Happy Labour day! Working people built this province, and we’re putting them first. Together, we are growing a strong economy here in B.C. – with the highest wages and the second-lowest unemployment in the country. news.gov.bc.ca/releases/2024P…

A happy Labour Day to everyone who works in healthcare in BC. You’re making sure people in BC get some of the best care in the world and we’re doing more all the time to attract and keep more health care workers here so people get the care they need.

As Labour Day winds down, let’s remember the gains we made — better job protections, more good jobs with higher wages, and strengthening our economy for everyone — didn’t happen by accident. They are the result of advocacy, determination and working together. 1/2

These gains that we all worked hard to achieve are under threat. We have an important choice to make in the coming weeks. Let’s keep working together. 2/2

Taking my kids to school this morning alongside parents across BC, we are all reminded of the importance of building more schools, keeping our kids safe in the classroom, and making sure that teachers and education workers have the tools they need to do the job.

Thank you to all the students who shared their thoughts on cell phone use in class. Remember, teachers and staff are there to help when you need them. We all want to make sure students have a safe and successful learning environment.

As this school year begins, parents want to know their kids are safe and focused on learning. While we’re banning cell phones in schools so kids can focus in class, John Rustad is trying to ban textbooks on climate change. The choice is stark.
