Great privilege to join the Coroners' Court Support Service for their 21st anniversary, and meet the founder Roey Burden as well as Philip Spinney the Senior Coroner of Devon, Plymouth and Torbay.

Wonderful day spent meeting the partcipants completing the Ten Tors challenges at Okehampton today, as well as learning about Reserves and Armed Forces Cadets Association and the excellent work they do.

A pleasure to meet some of the other High Sheriffs from the SW of England at the Old Bailey reception kindly hosted by the Recorder and High Sheriffs of London.

It was an honour to meet the volunteers at Poltimore House on 9th May and to share their plans for recovery and restoration following the terrible arson attack the previous month.

Lighting the Beacon at the Royal Citadel Plymouth to commemorate the 80th anniversary of those who left these shores in June 1944 to liberate Europe.

Interesting day spent with HS of Cornwall at D&C Police HQ Middlemore. Enjoyed meeting Gus, a general service Police dog and seeing him put through his paces as well learning about other aspects of policing. What a great job D & C police do every day on our behalf. Thank you.

An extremely interesting visit to NCI Prawle Point yesterday to learn how they keep a close watch not only on those on the water but also on those walking the coast path as well as some of the mammals in the sea. Thank you to Phil, Peter and Richard and all who support the NCI.

A most informative visit to Janner Men's Shed in Plymouth today. A great initiative to give people who may be lonely, depressed or finding life difficult something to do and companionship in a freindly, caring envioronment. Thank you all who support such a worthwhile endeavour.
