Congrats to Cynthia Kenyon, Calico's VP of Aging Research, for receiving the Lord Cohen Medal from British Society for Research on Ageing, one of the highest honors in the field of aging. The Medal has only been awarded 16 times in 40 yrs and recognizes outstanding contributions to aging research.

Apparently the lab is 7 years old. Holy moly how did that happen. If I've learnt anything from these 7 years, it is this: this job is hard enough. Life is hard enough. Let's all try and make it a little easier for each other, and have fun doing the science.

On the train back to London after a long but excellent 2 weeks travelling, finished with UKAN (UK Ageing Network) and then #BSRA2024! Always my favourite conference to help with, and the planning for Manchester has already started...
