Our amazing Secretary & wonderful artist Georgina Gould-Hardwick will be hosting her first solo exhibition "Encapsulated", showcasing native seed, the seed bank & Seeding Victoria! Limited capacity for the opening on Aug 16, the exhibition will be on display until Sept 8!

If a tree falls and no one is there to hear it - does it make a sound? .... Yes, and Seeding Vic is there to ensure that fallen trees genetics are saved and able to be distributed to provenance-based rehabilitative projects (or other appropriate projects) in Victoria!

Happy #WattleDay! Acacias are one of the fundamental species of revegetation projects, & different species provide ecological benefits for their landscapes. There's the added benefit that a batch of Acacia seed just feels great to look at! Check out what we have on our website!

Check out these beautiful Mallee riceflowers aka shrubby riceflower (Pimelea microcephala), and their wonderful orange fruit! They may look tasty, but actually have some nasty adverse effects if you eat them... so we might just stick to collection!

This special spot was particularly fun to come across during a field day in the Mallee region! A huge black box (E. largiflorens), which was providing shelter for a Kurrjong (Brachychiton sp.) & an umbrella wattle (A. oswoldii), and big belah (C. cristata) on the left.
