What is a sculpture? What does three dimensional mean? Have you seen any sculptures? 💭 Some of our prior learning questions before Year 1 started creating their own sculptures of… PENGUINS! 🐧👏👏🤍💙💫

Our Reception children have been learning about folk tales as part of their topic 'stories from the past'. The children have also made their own representations of Anansi the spider and setup a stage for their shadow puppets. Primary Knowledge Curriculum Greenwood Academies Trust

Our Y4 & Y6 children have made cushions and upcycled old garments. They have focussed on the effects of appliqué particularly when considering sustainability. There are 4 main elements to DT. Research and Investigate, Design, Make and Use and Evaluate. Great outcomes!
