Waterloo Terrace resident Giselle (left) says she's "starting over again." Part of that involves repairing her credit. That's why she attended a Financial Coaching workshop at Waterloo Terrace led by volunteer Serenity Coats. (right)

We are so grateful to Dominion Apartments for hosting a Supper Club last week at our Shadow Brook Community in North Texas. They had barbecue catered, and more than 100 residents and community members were served to-go meals while picking up from the Shadow Brook Food Pantry.

As a report from KVUE says, the high cost of food is taking a toll on Texas families. That's why our Health Initiatives team distributes more than 300,000 pounds of healthy food every year in food pantries all over Austin. You can watch the report at ow.ly/1SqP50ThLUy

When the temperatures drop, nothing warms you like a homemade quilt! Thank you Austin Area Quilt Guild for creating these colorful quilts for residents in our supportive housing communities.

A huge part of last week's Art & Wellness Show at our Bluebonnet Studios was the music. Residents and some staff members from our supportive communities for single adults set the tone with their tunes. We do not own the right to any of this music. Enjoy!

Wow! What a great gift from Grace Covenant Church. They arrived at Balcones Terrace with a trailer filled with welcome home basket items. Residents are moving in soon and many of them will need household items, so this is incredibly appreciated.
