Check out our latest review article on non-canonical Hsp70 interactions—out now in Cell Stress & Chaperones! With the recent explosion of studies mentioning them, Dr. O & Jason thought this timely. We hope it inspires new important research! link.springer.com/article/10.100…

I wrote a review on non-canonical PPIs in Hsp70. The cool part (to me) is that they don’t simply stabilize primary interactions, they seem to instill specific functions to Hsp70 complexes! Hope y’all like it!

This was such an incredible professional development experience! I learned so much from my cohort of Rising Stars & the incredible scientists & administrators in UNC SOM & the Pharmacology Dept. It was an honor. 😊👩🏾‍🔬

I concur. I confirm that new PIs will do everything to make their mentees successful! I contend that other hashtags are also cool. I also confess that I’m a new PI College of Chemistry and we are recruiting thezlab.org

Chaperones are needed for so many processes! How do you make process-specific or disease-specific chaperone inhibitors that are not generally toxic? A great collaboration with Gestwicki Lab shows the way...cell.com/cell-chemical-…
