🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 🇪🇸 After fieldwork yesterday we were invited to watch the England vs Spain euros match And then eased the football defeat with speciality Cape Verdean cake called cuscus (made out of cornflour, cornmeal and cinnamon 🤌)

🎉 We just reached 50 dives! We are currently on expedition with NGO Biosfera Cabo Verde in Cape Verde deploying cameras down to the deep sea in areas which have never been seen before We have seen black corals, butterflyfish, trumpetfish and sea bream 🥹 And even a manta ray!

Lights 💡 Camera 🎥 Action 🎬 The deep sea camera is being prepared for 100+ metre dives today in Cape Verde As well as collecting never seen before videos of deep sea in the area, this project is training and providing equipment to local scientists

👋 Meet our underwater camera! This camera has been deployed to depths of over 100 meters in the ocean of Cape Verde We deploy it off the side of the boat, and it provides a live feed so we can see what's on the sea floor 🔦 On the last dive, we saw a moray eel!
