Alright, I've gotten a few requests for how to make your own cartoon animals (or whatever) in Adobe Illustrator. I'll outline a quick process using this amazing dart frog photo from my homie Damien Esquerre. And we'll (hopefully) end up with a highly stylized drawing.
Beyond excited that my project on how disease affects susceptibility to temperature extremes in amphibians is being recommended for funding through the U.S. National Science Foundation #PRFB! Can’t wait to start this exciting work with Dr Michel Ohmer (Michel E B Ohmer) and Dr Mark Wilber!
Check out our new JEB paper, led by Michel E B Ohmer ! Frogs, climate change, behavior, and more. 🐸💚
A highlight of the #frog #conservation team San Francisco Zoo & Gardens this year!
Give frogs a leg up! 🐸 We’re hiring an entry-level position to raise endangered frogs for release into California’s National Parks and Forests. 🏔️ Join our Conservation Team at San Francisco Zoo & Gardens! pro.snaphire.com/sfzoo-careers/… SAVE THE FROGS! My piece on experimental design and causal inference in ecology & evolution is out in Ecology Letters to day. I'll provide some context on why I think inadequate experimental design in our field is limiting inferences & causing papers to be rejected 🧵onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/epdf/10.11…
What a fun paper to work on with an amazing group of researchers! Out now in NatureEcoEvo!
