Completed my International Humanitarian Response course with a camping simulation in N. Mass. So thankful to be surrounded by so many EM Global health practitioners!!

My stomach is in knots over the EMTALA case in the Supreme Court today.

Here’s what’s at stake:

The EMTALA case being up at the Supreme court is worrisome because the “at life” cause we are talking about are medical abortions to save the mother’s life. The idea that if EMTALA gets overturned, there will no repercussion for hospitals from turning away patients😵‍💫

Explaining the Match to my parents is wild😂 they still can’t believe whatever program I get in my envelope is the one I like HAVE to go to😂
