First-year (FY) cohort data from OUAC. UofG accepted 6516 FY students in 2022 (32% more than 2017-2019 avg). Local rents jumped (according to the article) by 20%. This year, UofG leaders accepted 7849 FY students - 59.5% higher than 2017-2019 avg. Where might rents go now?

Had a fantastic day today presenting a poster at the Gairdner Microbiome Symposium with Koya. Our research focusses on characterizing freshwater microbiomes to provide insights about the biotic interactions before, during, and after harmful algal blooms.
