0-120 handicap chase for £8900 Uttoxeter Racecourse today, 17 runners… don’t understand why so many trainers/owners turn up for prize funds that are frankly insulting. Yesterday Newcastle Racecourse total prize fund £52k compared with £90k in 2022, Ladies Day, weekend racing in high

The 2025 Fixture List was an opportunity to move our sport forward, opting for the status quo fails to address any of the deeply concerning issues we face, there is zero sense of urgency. We need to move much faster along the lines Paul suggests…

Orkney Blue below with Charlotte- we are fortunate to have a lovely intake of young horses including this son of Blue Bresil who was a close 2nd on debut in the spring. A strong, easy moving laid back chasing type, let’s hope he is lucky. 🤞🤞🤞

For what it’s worth I think the IHRB move to restrict races to certain trainers is regressive and patronising. I would hate UK to follow suit. The auction races provide the right opportunities for smaller trainers, perhaps we should have some of those this side of the water

81 runners on a 8 race card Market Rasen Racecourse today, massive summer Saturday crowd no doubt yet The Jockey Club are running a 3m 0-120 Chase for £8.5k. Inexcusable and I would respectfully suggest in breach of their Royal Charter - "you cannot be serious!" Retweet if you agree

A modern day record 94 runners on an 8 race card perthracecourse today. Grandstand encliosure has sold out, will be a tremendous atmosphere - it's not all doom & gloom!

A fantastic days racing York Racecourse tomorrow. Wonderful prize money, reasonable entry costs and food & beverage costs so the horses come and the people come, a virtuous circle. Put simply, they get it whereas so many others don’t. Can’t we just get York to run the whole show?

The Tote & FITZDARES The Racing App partnership outlined today on Nick Luck by WILLIAM WOODHAMS & Alex Frost sets an exciting precedent, pool betting works so well in other jurisdictions, racing can only benefit from its expansion in UK.

Another excellent owner interview on Nick Luck podcast today, this time with Emma Banks - great stuff! (ps - did further highlight the poor offering to owners Market Rasen Racecourse last week)
