Bad news: Hepatitis B is on the rise among gay and bi men in Ireland 📈 Good news: There is a free, effective vaccine that prevents serious illness It’s a no brainer - go to your local STI clinic or GP and get vaxxed if you haven’t already! Video courtesy of Man2Man Programme 👏

Have we so quickly forgotten SILENCE = DEATH? Krishen Samuel, PhD, MSPH and I co-wrote 'To Be Silent Is To Be Complicit' to highlight our frustrations with the lack of outcry from many global health institutions on the ongoing genocide in Gaza thebody.com/article/to-be-…

Today is Irish AIDS Day Ireland has a long way to go in stopping new HIV infections; most importantly challenging HIV Stigma & improving the lives of PLWHIV. But two people doing the most AMAZING work are Veda & Robbie Lawlor Check out pozvibepod 💚

I had the absolute pleasure of being interviewed about my #chemsex research by Robbie Lawlor & Veda. I really can't recommend the whole @pozvibespod series enough, it's the most open, honest & diverse set of interviews available. Essential listening open.spotify.com/episode/6v81vg…

This season of the pozvibepod, Veda and I talked to psychotherapists, outreach workers, theatre makers, academics and drug support workers who specialise in chemsex Most importantly, we heard from people who engage in chemsex! Informative, gas craic & well worth a listen

Big shout out to Aoife Drury, Andrew Shannon, Michael O’ Dea, Graham Ryall, Philly McMahon, Phillip Connaughton, Man2Man Programme and Maurice Nagington 🏳️‍🌈💃☮️ for sharing their expertise. HUGE love and respect to all our fabulous community members who shared their lived experiences ❤️

Robbie Lawlor pozvibepod Veda Oh yeh! I forgot about the theatre makers! Excellent craic, though I think my ears may never recover from having Robbie's laugh piercing through my head every 5 minutes 🤣

Maurice Nagington 🏳️‍🌈💃☮️ pozvibepod Veda My laugh is so off putting. I cringe every time I hear it. A complete by-product of working with Veda who has me cackling all of the time. Thanks again for coming on Maurice. Brilliant round up to the whole season ❤️ hope you enjoy the chemsex symposium!

A powerful new chemsex ad is hitting the big screen at #GazeFilmFest this weekend! This collaboration between pozvibepod , GAZE: International LGBTQIA Film Festival , and man2man features the incredible Veda & Robbie Lawlor telling us about their new must-listen Chem Sessions podcast. 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥

Robbie Lawlor (@robbie_lawlor) 's Twitter Profile Photo

At this year’s GAZE: International LGBTQIA Film Festival, myself and my co-star Veda talk candidly about chemsex and signpost to supports for people who feel they may need them. Anecdotally, we know chemsex is on the rise in Ireland (we still don’t have official data), yet it still remains ‘taboo’

Delighted that our friends over at Man2Man Programme asked us to make this ad to help break the conspiracy of silence and to further bring chemsex into community conversations Big shout out to the Colin Brady production company for helping us make this a reality- true allyship!

In Ireland, there are many issues when accessing PrEP - over burdened/under resourced sexual health infrastructure, shame & stigma, geographical barriers, etc etc. Could remote services be part of a solution to our problems? Worth pushing for a pilot HSE Ireland HSE Sexual Wellbeing
