The Bank of England has just cut interest rates for the first time since 2020. This is welcome news for millions of homeowners and shows the Labour Government inherited a much stronger economy than they're letting on.

Country first apparently…laughable. A party of YIMBYs…not. Politics first more like from #Labour. Normality has resumed. Gerrymandering of the first order. #housing telegraph.co.uk/politics/2024/…

As he should be. Disgraceful from anyone let alone a public figure and elected representative. The Prime Minister and Labour should condemn this in the strictest possible terms.

There isnt enough time for schools to prepare let alone those in the state sector for a policy that puts ideology before practicality. The government must rethink its VAT on independent schools policy. Classes WILL expand if this is implemented to the detriment of pupil learning.

I am very proud of the work Atticus Partners is doing to support Ukraine against a Russian invasion and practices that challenge every facet of international law. Ukraine is a sovereign independent nation and must remain so. #SlavaUkraini

Politics is about choices. Keir Starmer chose to take Winter Fuel support from pensioners. He chose to spend billions on inflation-busting union pay deals. He chose to give Labour donors unrestricted access to Downing Street. And it’ll be his choice to raise your taxes, too.

This is no way for a government official or political candidate to conduct themselves on the sacred ground of Section 60 at Arlington. The final resting place of so many heroic Americans -- including some who died under my command -- is not a political prop.

The Rwanda policy was by no means perfect. To scrap it without an alternative however was damn right foolhardy, and in the election Conservatives warned this. Repeatedly. thetimes.com/uk/politics/ar…

A majority of 158 and Labour MPs cant vote against a measure as important and equally as unpopular as the #WinterFuelPayment for fear of having the whip removed. Just wait for the budget. #LifeUnderLabour
