Happy birthday to an ex Liverpool FC midfielder David Thompson who turns 47 today! Thommo was born in Birkenhead and started his career at #LFC, he went through the ranks to make his 1st team debut in 1996 and he made 56 appearances for the club before moving to Coventry in 2000.

13 September 2008 Only 5 minutes after substituting Albert Riera (who made his #LFC debut that day), Ryan Babel scored a winner from Dirk Kuyt's pass in a Premier League game against Manchester United at Anfield! Despite going 1-0 down in the 3rd minute, the Reds beat them 2-1.
