Our approach to the pandemic is a great example of why we cannot get past racism in America. We think it’s all about personal behavior, we deny structural flaws that produce localized harms, and we don’t learn from our past mistakes. Indeed, we are willingly stubborn and blind.

I have officially run out of enough serenity to accept the things I cannot change. There’s simply just not enough fucking serenity to be had at this point. Maybe this is a supply chain thing too, I don’t know.

To reach & teach students effectively, teachers must forge a human connection w/them. But understaffed & overworked many simply have no time to show students that they see, hear & care about them. Survival mode doesn’t allow room for relationship building. forbes.com/sites/markcper…
