No common sense whatsoever. Does no one in Lambeth ever query things. You have a supplier who can supply only for £40.8K (which is a fortune anyway). Lambeth decide to award instead to NBJ for £112.1K. So Lambeth are paying £14K PER DOOR to install a door, which is a day's work

Also have to ask the question of how much was paid to refurbish the doors and why it didn't work

The even bigger question is why it takes the dogged work of a journalist to uncover this, when there should be systems in place to stop this situation happening at all. Local government oversight is broken

Another #Lambeth horror show. The council were warned about the dripping water weeks ago but did nothing. Now it has collapsed and water is still dripping. Contractor hasn't fixed it as worried about potential asbestos. Mum and 3 autistic children having to live here Robert Firth
