To commemorate the 93rd anniversary of John's passing, the club have a display on show. Including the Holy Bible used at his funeral service. 💚

Organised by the wonderful Celtic Graves Society Society, a group of us walked the 55 miles to John Thomson's graveside in 2011. I made some lifelong friends on that journey. John Clark and Bertie waved us off.

An everlasting memory was about 2 minutes after this photo was taken. John Clark is trying to call Bertie back, as he walks us all down on to London Rd, unsurprisingly blethering. "Bertie! BERTIE!!" John then turns to me. "Ach, take him with you, he's a ****** nuisance!". 😃

Another great wee night with the staff at a Quiz Night, in the stadium. Some of the team names were sensational. Mince and Hatates Charlie's Engels Emilio Quizaguirrei As per usual, absolutely bossed by the magical Matthew 💚 Have a great weekend, people. 🍀

He told me he was sitting at breakfast this morning when a current Celtic player walked in. "Did you go and say hello?" "Absolutely no chance!!" No idea where he gets his shyness from. 🤠

Home from a fantastic night, celebrating young Cody's 21st birthday. The absolute best of kids. 💚 And yes, of course I tried to steal his bow-tie! 🤠🙌

I was only 15 and watched Jock collapse on TV. I still vividly remember the shock on hearing he'd passed away, later that night. The man who put Celtic on the world stage. A true legend. 💚

The Big Man still watching over us all. 🍀💚

13 years ago today, after walking 55 miles to John Thomson's graveside in Fife, Celtic allowed us to walk around the track at half time. The response from the crowd was truly humbling. My knees wouldn't even consider 55 minutes, nowadays! 😄😄 Gary Porter Celtic Graves Society 💚

This is wonderful and perfectly sums up Celtic for me. Everyone finds Celtic in their own way. Be it parents, grandparents, or whatever. Once they find Celtic and realise what the club means to so many people worldwide, it's a lifelong love affair. 💚

Been there! I remember sitting with Jason at a Celtic match. The moment our goalkeeper Joe Hart went down injured, he whipped out his phone and started recording me for his podcast! He's like a f***in ninja!!😃

Just had to visit Glasgow's best chippy and the scene of one of the greatest lines, ever. A wee guy sat the table next to me with a huge plate of fish and chips, says to the owner... "I really shouldn't be eating this with what I've got." "Why, what have you got?" "Forty pence."
