Good rejoinder—I was pretty shocked by how sloppy and inaccurate this WaPo editorial was! The consistently slipshod legal dilettantism of WaPo's op-ed section may be exerting a malign influence here.

Good split screen with the GOP here. It isn't just that Trump's Department of Labor fought overtime pay—it's also that Trump appointed anti-labor judges who are about to block Biden's new rule. I continue to believe that the media does a terrible job explaining this dynamic.

Mayor Bowser’s increasingly brazen habit of awarding lucrative city contracts and settlements to her friends, patrons, and donors—who are often unqualified and undeserving—is just the most corrosive kind of cronyism. A really bad direction for D.C. washingtoncitypaper.com/article/691533…

First, it is hard to overstate the importance of Thursday's EMTALA argument. I definitely cannot put it any more clearly than this great piece by Dahlia Lithwick and Lindsay Harrison: slate.com/news-and-polit…. Go read it.

People are entitled to their own opinions about the Grants Pass case but the issue is not a “right to camp.”

Justice Elena Kagan: 'For a homeless person who has no place to go, sleeping in public is kind of like breathing in public.'

At arguments in Grants Pass, Sotomayor, Kagan, and Jackson are pummeling the Gibson Dunn attorney defending laws that punish homeless people who sleep outside.

Sotomayor asks: If homeless people aren't allowed to sleep anywhere, are they supposed to just 'kill themselves'?
