Dumbfounded when I hear "every child learns differently." 1) They literally don't. Scientists can make generalizations about the mechanism across people. 2) If every child *did* learn differently, experience would be meaningless. A teacher would be a novice with each new child.

Non uniform day is such a terrible idea.

Some readily spend hundreds on children's mobile phones and monthly line rentals, but when it comes to purchasing school uniform, money suddenly becomes an issue.

If an organisation or consultant promotes ideas like 'restorative justice,' 'trauma-informed practice,' or 'unmet needs' as their solution to behaviour management, don't let them near your school. And if you're a teacher and your school leader starts adopting these buzzwords,

We don’t care enough about efficiency in learning. Inefficiency is inherent to being behind academically. It’s what creates the Matthew Effect, making it so hard to catch kids up. Knowledge sticks to knowledge and makes subsequent learning more efficient.

There is little evidence for the effectiveness of most mental health, SEND and behaviour interventions that happen in schools. Beware those who claim the only problem is "lack of resources".

Do not let them in. They will systematically destroy your school culture, charge you an arm and a leg for their ‘service,’ and when their approach fails, they will blame your implementation methods before moving on to the next school to work their magic on.
