First Guided Group Reading session done yesterday. We explored the story for our upcoming writing journey - Rose Blanche. The cover alone generated lots of curious questions about our topic ‘WWII’.

Year 6 testes their fitness levels today by completing their first bleep test. We then entered the data into a collaborative spreadsheet. We will reassess this over the year to see how they develop as athletes. Very proud of you all. Nant Y Parc Primary

Year 6 started started their learning of the circulatory system today. They explored the structure of the heart and what a heart beat is. They then measured their pulse before and after exercise and we discussed why and how our heart rate changes. Nant Y Parc Primary
