At the Annual Meeting of NASCO in June 2024, the North Atlantic Commission elected its representatives. The Commission elected Dale Marsden (Canada) as its Chair and Patrick Keliher (USA) as its Vice-Chair, both to serve for a period of two years from the close of the Meeting.

In June 2024, the West Greenland Commission decided to maintain the multi-annual regulatory measure applying to the West Greenland fishery in its current form for 2024. A commitment was made to reassess the measure's effectiveness in 2025, with the possibility of revisions.
