Absolutely agree with EIS that we need to make sure we have enough teachers to meet every child’s needs. Scotland has seen a massive fall in the number of Qualified Teachers of the Deaf - it’s time to turn that round, as part of making ASL rights a reality for every child.

People sometimes question the value of Scottish Parliament CPGs, but tonights’s Cross Party Group on #Deafness was excellent. Tough questions for the Health Minister on Audiology, good progress on 3 working groups led by MSPs, all well chaired by Colin Beattie & supported by The ALLIANCE
