Spent today working through the BIM Protocol with a client. Why isn't this simpler? Their legal team decided it's too much of a risk - if anything in the Particulars overrides a scope of services it takes precedence. Level Of Information Need was the final straw.

Information requirements should be exactly that. Don't ask for a monthly report, but if you need reports, what information do you need in it? If you want views to be retained in the models, state it as a requirement! Simple stuff guys.

Anyone else encountered problems with the latest #IFC exporter for Revit 2022? 22.6 appears to have issues with custom settings (export aborts, can't delete custom settings, etc) Downgraded to 22.5 and all is now OK again c/c Angel Velez

Hey Autodesk Revit when using the IFC export settings for COBie 2.4 MVD - where are the additional properties from the Company Info & Project Info supposed to end up? They don't seem to make it into the IFC at all...?

Genuine question, not a test: does anyone know if COBie 2.4 requires all spaces to be in at least one zone? i.e. can a space be zoneless even if all others are part of a zone?
