Devastated by the sudden loss of dear friend and World Health Organization (WHO) colleague Aidan OāLeary. Aidan was a tremendous humanitarian and an extraordinary leader in the fight to @EndPolio. More importantly he was a special human and friend. Myā¤ļøcondolences and prayers to his family and loved ones.
The world has lost a remarkable humanitarian, Aidan OāLeary, a true champion in the fight to #EndPolio. All of us at UNICEF SupplyĀ extend our sincere condolences to his family and the global polio team. We will honour his memory by continuing to work towards a polio-free world.
It was lovely to meet 8-month-old Azizullah at a UNICEF Afghanistan-supported health facility in #Afghanistan. When he arrived he was severely malnourished but now he is recovering well. It's thanks to support from World Bank & Asian Development Bank that we're able to help children like Azizullah.

This monsoon has been devastating for the people of eastern Bangladesh. Children have lost their families, homes, schools, and are in desperate need of food, clean water, safe toilets and emergency relief supplies. UNICEF Bangladesh is doing everything possible but much more is needed.
