In the latest version of the Nomic AI Python package, LangChain users can now access an officially-supported local version of Nomic Embed.

With dynamic inference, Nomic Embed locally lets you switch between local and remote inference based on input

Local Nomic Embed supports dynamic mode which selects either the local or remote model based on the input size of the text and your underlying hardware. This ensures you get the best token cost / model latency tradeoff.

Just set inference_mode='dynamic'.
