Looking west from NWS Amarillo this morning. We can see low clouds in the distance towards Deaf Smith and Oldham counites. If driving out that way, could also still see some patchy fog at times for the next hour or two. Please use caution if traveling #phwx #TXwx

Portions of the Panhandles can still look forward to slightly cooler temperatures and scattered precipitation chances to end the work week. Warmer than average temperatures come back though, including widespread 90s looking possible heading into next week. #phwx #txwx #okwx

Watching the Panhandles for a chance of rain Thursday afternoon into the early morning hours on Friday. Not a high chance, but one nonetheless. Could even see a thunderstorm in the NW Panhandles with strong winds and locally heavy rainfall #phwx #TXwx #OKwx

Be on the lookout for fog across the S TX Panhandle as you head out the door this morning! Visibility has dropped to 1/4 mile in Hereford, and fog is showing up on traffic cams along I-27 in Canyon and S Amarillo. Leave plenty of time and use extra caution for your commute! #phwx

The ingredients for thunderstorms may not come together very well late this afternoon into the overnight period. Therefore, the rain chances are not very high. Some may still see a decent shower or storm come over them while their neighbor may not see anything. #phwx #txwx #okwx

Expect a warming trend with daytime highs reaching above normal Sunday through Wednesday. Thankfully temperatures will not be quite as hot as some of our records, which were hit over the last few years. Friday onward is looking dry as well. #phwx

Another mostly uneventful day in store with highs in the 80s. A few measly showers can't be ruled out across the east this morning and afternoon, but dry conditions are expected for a vast majority of the combined Panhandles. #phwx #txwx #okwx
