Trooper Christopher Mogg #615 pulled over this vehicle for driving 114 mph on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near Portland Avenue eastbound in Oklahoma City. That is 44 mph over the posted speed limit of 70. The driver was rewarded with a $449 ticket.

The I-44 west to I-44 south ramp is completely blocked because of a semi carrying US mail that tipped over on its side. There are no injuries reported at this time. Please avoid the area if possible.

"Group chat got me a ticket." No group chat or text is worth a ticket, or even worse, a crash. Trooper Austin May #500 pulled over this driver for failure to maintain lane and she admitted that she was texting in a group chat. Remember to keep all distractions away while driving.

The outside lane of I-35 northbound at mile marker 31 in Ardmore, OK is closed due to this. It appears the driver was raising his trailer as he was going down I-35 and did not know it until it hit the sign and ripped it off his truck.

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we announce the passing of LT Brian Fugate #183. LT Fugate passed away on September 1 after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. LT Fugate graduated from the 56th Academy and served the OHP faithfully for 18 years.
