Yes - what a tragic and remarkable moment in the labor movement rarely discussed or remembered even in RI. Great to be there again this year and hear from a relative of a young man shot and killed there 90 years ago by agents of his govt simply for exercising his rights.

Love the Celtics as much as anybody. But if we showed as much enthusiasm for getting a bridge built as for the Larry O’Brien Trophy (let alone the Independent Man) we might actually get a bid to get a bridge built. And then a bridge built.

Another sign of a healthcare system in crisis - and operating in a vacuum of state leadership. Study commissions and OHIC cranking rates in deference to the “solvency” of health insurers won’t solve this crisis either.
