Israel has dropped almost 75,000 bombs and shells on Gaza in 200 days, twenty times more than the US aimed at Iraq in six years of war.

The world's 200 bloodiest days since the Rwandan genocide. It’s not war. It’s genocide.

When you see the sheer scale of the murder of civilians in , the mass destruction of homes, infrastructure, public services, centres of learning, religious and cultural buildings and symbols, I'm sorry, but it's now impossible to see this as anything other than .

Anyone else feel so bitterly let down by most politicians and the media? We are voiceless when so few people with principles fight against war, racism and inequality. At the next GE we must all vote with our conscience. The endless two party control has stolen our democracy.

Wow.

Today in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Students at University of Lausanne join the global uprising for Palestine, calling for their institution to divest from Israel’s genocide.

Seriously if only Ofsted would devise an EIF that enables inspectors to give us the narrative of the school context and its pupils- unique to each school.
Evaluation of Strengths, areas for development, but NO single meaningless grade!
Now that’s genuine school improvement.

One of the Conservatives' successes has been to turn people against each other. So while we argue about statues or single sex toilets, we are not coming together to talk about how to fix crumbling schools, our broken NHS, the rail system, the housing crisis or our toxic rivers.

My hospital is charging £59 pounds per month for staff parking. Almost sixty quid a month to go to work! That’s 720 quid year. NHS staff are NOT valued.

If I live that long.

You go to university to work out what you think. Sometimes that means joining in with something. Sometimes it means opposing. And yep, sometimes it's overblown. Always was. It's called growing up.

Using force to prevent students from trying out ideas is mad.

Sunak can't tell the difference between Bury and Burnley. Conservative MPs call Birmingham and Blackpool 'godawful', Stockton 'a shithole' and Tower Hamlets 'a no-go area'. Then the Tories wonder why they get their arses kicked in local elections.

The Greens were the biggest winners in the local elections, so why aren’t they getting fair air time? taxresearch.org.uk/Blog/2024/05/0… Proportionately, the Greens won most seats at the recent local elections, but they are denied airtime, and we get Reform instead. Why?

Seems the people who go on and on about “the will of the people” actually have very little respect for the actual “Will of the people” if it’s different to their views.

Would be incredibly harsh on the existing Labour candidates if they're expected to stand aside for opportunists trying to save their skins.
