We are striking, not for a pay rise but money that is owed to us and is being withheld by our trust. Who gives an organisation the right to admit they paid us incorrectly then not give us the money we are legally entitled to. Shame on them, we are not rich, we are working people

We could not be more proud of Jacob. Parliament is all the better for having former UNISON East Midlands reps like Jacob there. Best of luck - you’re now a steward for a whole constituency!

The scenes in Rotherham aren’t a protest, they aren’t even a far right riot, they are an ongoing attempt to murder the men, women & children inside by burning them alive. The stench of these days will hang around those who incited and justified it for the rest of their lives.

These are not demonstrators. They’re racist thugs causing terror and spewing hate in our communities. Hoping no one has been hurt in the Rotherham hotel fire.

Derbyshire Support and Facilities Services announced, without real consultation, 2.1% pay award for their staff. The Government have accepted a 5.5% pay award from 01 April 2024 as the Pay Review Body's recommended it. DSFS should honour this pay award for it's staff.

Bosses are threatening to OUTSOURCE these NHS workers. That means WORSE sick pay, holiday, and wages - for the same work. But they’re fighting back.
