When coming to the end of a dual carriageway look out for the 'end of dual carriageway’ sign. Be aware: dual carriageways often end by narrowing down to a single lane or at a roundabout followed by a single lane. Watch for signs, road markings & speed limit signs. NI Road Policing and Safety
Dual Carriageways 1/2 When crossing or turning right assess if the central reservation is deep enough to protect the length of your vehicle Treat each half of the carriageway as a separate road & wait for a safe gap in the traffic on the 2nd half of the road NI Road Policing and Safety

Remind children to use the Green Cross Code: Stop, Look, Listen. More advice👇 sharetheroadtozero.com/back-to-school… NI Road Policing and Safety

Drivers/riders - it's #BackToSchool time, remember to slow down when approaching schools. Be aware of children walking/cycling to school, perhaps negotiating traffic for the first time. Drive very slowly until you are clear of the area. #PayAttentionOrPayThePrice NI Road Policing and Safety
